Alueen kätköjen noutaminen vaatii melko pitkän kävelymatkan, enimmäkseen pitkospuita pitkin. Alueelle saa nykyisin tuoda koiria, mutta ne on ehdottomasti pidettävä koko ajan kytkettyinä. Polkupyöriä ei saa tuoda alueelle. Saatat tarvita kumisaappaita.
Älä säikähdä matkan varrella olevia "Mökkialue"-kylttejä, kulkeminen alueella on sallittua. Liikkuessasi saarella kulje vain polkuja pitkin, ei mökkien pihoilla. Polut menevät saaren ympäri rantoja myötäillen, sekä mäen päältä, Pohjolan Pirtin kautta.
EN: Vanhankaupunginlahti is a beautiful area almost in the middle of Helsinki. To find caches here, you need to walk quite a long way along duckboards. The area is a birdlife conservation area, so you can't ride a bike here. Wellinton boots might be useful.
There are signs on the way that inform "cottage-area", but you are allowed to walk freely ahead. Please use only the common paths on the island, do not enter the private gardens of the cottages. The common paths go around the island and across, near the Pohjolan Pirtti (big red building on the top).
