How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

Easy to get to cache in Alpine, California. Placed by the students of DMP as part of their geography class. Please stop by !!!

The cache is easy to locate and is easily accesable. It is NOT directly attached to any of the buildings The hint will give you precise information as to where it is.

These Travel Bugs are part of the 2009 Geography class project at Day- McKellar Prep. 1st through 8th classes. Please help distribute these bugs as quickly as possible as we are tracking them throughout the school year.

Many of the children picked Foreign Countries as the destinations. (each bug is marked with its ultimate location) If you can help get any of them to their foreign destinations that would be awsome!
Please place in other popular or easy to get to caches as we need to keep the bugs moving. The children would be disappointed if their bugs stall out for a year or get lost.

If you could write us a note, and take a picture of the bug in its new location we would be extremely grateful.

THANKS FOR HELPING WITH OUR GEOCACHE PROJECT !!!! :-)

Please do not visit the cache during school hours (7:00am - 4:00pm Mon-Fri.)

This cache is used as a launching pad for Day-McKellar Prep students studying geography. Travel bugs are launched and tracked by students as they move around the world. Travel bugs that "visit" this cache are researched to see where they come from and where they are going.
