As a hobby I enjoy studying the history of electronic computers. The computer in question here was the first computer that operated in real time, used video displays for output, and the first that was not simply an electronic replacement of older mechanical systems. This computer was one of the first to implement a program for translation of mathematical equations into low level computer code. This allowed the user to concentrate on the problem to be solved in a more natural way. Manually execute this program to find the coordinates.
a = 9.0
b = 5.0
c = 1.273272
d = -0.032596
x = c/a/b
y = F5(x)
SR 1,
PRINT z.
x = d/b/a
y = F6(x)
SR 1,
PRINT z.
STOP
1 z = bay / F7(1)
