This cache (in newly upgraded ammo box) is located a little ways up the Trailer Canyon fire road in the Palisades Highlands. It's a bit of a steep hike on the way up there. Great views.
This unique cache is a spinoff of our Roaming Postcards Camp at the Burning Man Festival in Nevada.
In this cache you will find several blank stamped postcards. If you wish to participate (and you don't have to), fill out your name and address on the front of one of the postcards. Then take a postcard that has someone else's name and address and write them a message (or draw them a picture) on the back of the postcard. Then take this postcard with you after you leave the cache and mail it. (There is a mailbox located at 34° 04.5505 118° 33.9150). This is the cache that keeps on giving, because when you least expect it, you'll get a random postcard delivered to your mailbox from the cache!
There is a view of our house from the cache.
In addition to the postcards, the original contents of this cache are:
- Blackbook List LA
- Box of "real postcards" to take with you
- Cache In Trash Out keychain
- Blues Clues keychain
- Heart stickers
