Geocache Description:

A chance to explore one of the many caves in Rockwood

This cache is accessible either on foot or by canoe. Either way expect to get your feet wet. Before attempting this cache please take note of the water conditions and use proper judgement. Coordinates will take you to the mouth of the cave. Cache is located inside cave at the highest SW point at the back of the cave and has a rock in front of it to conceal it. Since this is a dark cave a flashlight is highly recommended.

If you enjoyed this caving experience there are two other caves in Rockwood you might be interested in trying. One is in a partially submerged cave (boat access is recommended (visit link) The other is a far more impressive cave accessible by foot with a short tunnel through a very small entrance opening up to a large cavity (visit link)
