The cache is placed by the road riksveg 250 between Lillehammer and Dokka, about 23 km from Lillehammer. It's placed by a dam called Storlondammen. Parking is easy. It's not dangerous to seek for the cache, but because of the waterfall and the cars driving fast on the road children should not seek for the cache by themselves.
Storlondammen ligger på grensa mellom kommunene Nordre Land og Lillehammer. Høyde over havet er 649 meter. Det er et sted det er fint å stoppe på underveis mellom Lillehammer og Dokka. Øst-vestekspressen passerer her. Storlondammen er et fint utgangspunkt for turer i området, og det er også fiskemuligheter her.
