Dieser Cache führt dich zu einer Stelle unterhalb des Lehrenkopf
bei Engeln. Von dort hat man eine schöne Aussicht über das
Brohltal.
Der Weg ist als bequemer Spaziergang vom Bahnhof Engeln aus zu
bewältigen. Aber natürlich lässt sich dieser Cache auch prima mit
einer Wanderung in dieser Gegend verbinden.
In der Nähe befindet sich noch ein weiterer Cache.
GC1WMZQ Beide kann man gut zu einer Runde um das Wäldchen
kombinieren.
Mit dem Vulkan-Express ist eine besonders reizvolle Anreise
möglich. Wobei man „Express“ nicht zu wörtlich nehmen sollte. Die
historische Schmalspureisenbahn schlängelt sich von Brohl am Rhein
durch das romantische Brohltal bis nach Engeln.
Der Weg zur Aussicht ist asphaltiert. Er ist kinderwagentauglich
und ich denke, auch mit Rollstuhl zu bewältigen ( Höhenunterschied
ca 20m). Lediglich das Versteck liegt ein klein wenig
„offroad“.
Da das Gebiet um den Lehrenkopf ein Naturschutzgebiet ist, bitte
ich euch nur die Wege zu benutzen. Um den Cache zu finden muß der
Fußgängerbereich nicht verlassen werden.

This Cache leads you to a place at the Lehrenkopf near Engeln.
There you'll have a nice view over the Brohl Valley. It's a light
walk from the station Engeln but it's also nice during a longer
walk in this area. There is another cache nearby.
GC1WMZQ You can do both in a walk around the little
Forest.
You can do the journey by taking the historic narrow-gauge railway
„Vulkan-Express“ from Brohl at the river Rhein to Engeln.
The way is usable with strollers and I think for wheelchairs too
(altitude difference: about 20m). Only the Cache location itself is
not accessible with wheelchairs.
The area around the Lehrenkopf is a nature reserve area, so you
don't have to leave the ways to get there. You don't have to leave
the walkers accessible area to find the cache.
