Kylmäpihlaja on toiminnassa oleva majakkasaari.
Kylmäpihlaja on Rauman saariston uloin saari. Saareen pääsee hyvin niin pienellä kuin isolla veneellä, mutta kannattaa ottaa tuuliolot huomioon! Kylmäpihlajan laiturit ovat aallonmurtajien suojissa. Myös vesibussi ajaa saareen.
Saarella on paljon tiiroja ja muita merilintuja. (riskilöitä, karikukkoja, tyllejä, erilaisia lokkeja ja pääskyjä...) Tiirat ovat valloittaneet puolet saaresta ja hyökkäävät helposti tunkeilijoiden kimppuun. (Kätkö ei ole tiirojen alueella.)

Kylmäpihlaja is a lighthouse island which is a sign for many ships sailing across the coast of Rauma.
Kylmäpihlaja is the outermost island of Rauma archipelago. It's easy to take a little voyage to the island but be sure that the sea isn't treacherous to sail! The quays of the island are sheltered by breakwaters. You can manage your way to the island also by using water bus services.
There's lots of terns and other sea birds at Kylmäpihlaja. (black guillemots, turnstones, ringed plovers, different kinds of gulls and swallows...) Half of the island belongs to terns and they aren't afraid of protecting their territory from invaders. (The cache isn't located in the tern area.)
