A traditional cache hidden in Somers' Koegel park located off the red trail
For years we have driven past the entrance to this park and each time we've wondered what's up there. But until today we never had a good opportunity to stop. But, today bac was running some errands up in Mahopac and on the way back south decided that it was time to have a look at what Koegel park has to offer -- and the answer s quite a lot.
This is the first cache placed in the park though Ghost Rider is just off the edge of the park. The cache is off the red trail but you can also get to it by taking the blue trail to the left off the wide green path and picking up the red trail at the picnic area.
You are looking for a small sized lock and lock type container.
