Geocache Description:


Red River Drive is the northern most remnant of a historical trail originally used by fur traders. The traders were traveling with ox carts from Upper Fort Garry south to Fort Daer and on to Minneapolis. The route follows the Red River, the plentiful riverbank trees supplied shelter and wood to repair broken carts.
