Geocache Description:

Esimesed andmed jõge ületavast Kuressaare sillast pärinevad 1650. aastast. Arvatavasti 1820. a. paiku asendati puust rajatis kivisillaga, mida nüüd tuntakse Suursillana. Eestimaa üks suurim, pikim ja vanim kivisild on arhitektuurimälestisena kaitse all; selle restaureerimist alustati 1990.a.

Koordinaatidelt avaneb vaade Kuressaare kivisillale, kuid aaret seal ei asu. Kui leiad infosildi, leiad ka aarde. Tegemist on eriti lihtsat sorti mõistatusaardega, kuna tavalise aarde alla kirjeldus ei kvalifitseeru.

_______________________________________________

The first data of the bridge crossing Kuressaare River date back to year 1650. Presumably in the year of 1820 the wooden bridge was replaced for the stone one, which is now known as Suursild (Big Bridge). One of the biggest, longest and oldest stone bridges of Estonia is under the protection as an architectural memorial. Its restoration was started in 1990.

From the coordinates Kuressaare stone bridge is being seen, but the cache is not there. If you will find the signboard, you will find also the cache. It's kind of very simple unknown cache, because it doesn't qualify as a traditional cache.
