Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
The cache is an ammo tin laid in a
Disused quarry just below Great Hamlden Hill 409m.
From the cache site there are some
fine views, there are many paths to the cache site but please take
care as there are some steep drops.
After finding the cache you can carry
on up the hill to the trig for all you trig lover's.
I have laid this cache as i became
the owner of this container after July's NWCMM at the Dresser's
Arm's.
There was some major conflict between
Team Griffin and Team Lizzardman/Numbers as to who had won the quiz
(2 sides to a snowflake indeed) to stop the warring faction's i
took the prize.
In the box is all the usual stuff but
there is also a pair of binoculars. Once you have found the cache
use the binoculars to look toward's Wigan and see if you can cast
your eyes on Peter "Eye Candy" Numbers the finest man in the NW
(According to some that is)
If you then look 4.4 mile's in any
direction you will see Ian Lizzardman looking for the cache in the
wrong place. Feel free to tell me in your logs if you see either of
them.
