Cache placed (my first) in the entrance to Cueva del Viento in the Guajataca Forest. It takes 45 to get there from the parking at Ranger station (road 446).
Took the PR-2 (Qebradillas/Isabela), then look for PR-446 (left side if you come from San Juan). From there, drive about 15 minutes to reach the Ranger Station after the entrance (sign) of the forrest. The coordinates of the station are N 18° 25.253’ W 066° 57.967’.
The walk will take about 45 minutes each way from the parking. Please bring water and comfortable shoes. The entrance has a small wooden “boardwalk” and a stairs to get into the cave. If you want to see the cave please bring a good flash light. It is very dark and poky, but safe to walk in. The cache IS NOT in the cave. It is at the entrance of the cave.
