Geocache Description:

Ahoy! Me Name be Captain Ice 'n I needs yer help.

Me ship was trapped in an iceberg while I was sailin' in th' far North. 'twas aft this voyage that I was plannin' t' return galleon t' th' vast Prairies 'n retire wit' all me loot.

I needs someone t' check that me loot be still where I left it. If ye be brave enough t' delve into th' thick jungle t' do this, I shall reward ye handsomely.

Unfortunately, th' map t' th' loot be here wit' me, so ye'll 'ave t' make do wit' some crude instructions that I 'ave written down.

First, ye must travel t' these coordinates. N 50 01.687, W096 51.907. That's where I marked th' 'X' on me map. Ye'll 'ave t' find th' big X that's on th' ground.

Once ye do that, face t' th' West 'n walk 48 paces. At that point, face South 'n walk 29 paces. (Th' second part be th' hardest as ye'll be facin' th' thickest o' jungles.)

When ye 'ave walked th' 29 paces, ye'll 'ave t' look around fer me loot chest. But beware! I didn' leave it unguarded! Thar be a black spotted lock on th' chest. Thar be only two keys that shall open that lock. One be around me neck. Th' other be hidden safely nearby. From th' Treasure Chest, go 13 paces East. Th' key be hidden nigh a bucket. Be careful! That bucket contains th' haunted soul o' a mighty ole Pirate named Burr, Dexcrub Burr t' be precise. Checkin' on me loot was his last act afore dyin'. Now, in death, he be committed t' watchin' o'er me loot fer all eternity unless I return t' reclaim wha' be mine.

Make sure t' replace th' key aft ye 'ave checked on me Treasure. If th' key doesn't get replaced, Burr's ghost will loot th' bucket 'n follow th' key holder 'til 'tis returned.

Inside th' loot, ye will find two containers that Burr put inside fer me. One contains a log book. This will be me log o' visitors. Th' other container contains a few small treasures from around th' world. These treasures ye may trade fer as long as ye leave me bounty alone. Thar be a certificate fer th' first brave adventurer t' check on me loot. Fer th' first sprog that checks on me teasure, thar be a certificate as well as a good swashbucklin' movie he or she can loot galleon.

Thank ye fer helpin' me wit' me Treasure!

Logging Etiquette: Geocache hiders sometimes go through a great deal of planning to place their caches. As a result, they'd like to hear your feedback on whether you liked or disliked any aspect of the hide, or if you feel that some cache maintenance is required. Single word, acronym, or emoticon logs may be easier when you have a lot of caches to log, but it doesn't tell the hider or other finders anything about your adventure (or lack thereof) in finding the cache. Please keep this in mind when entering your log.
