[LAT] Balkanu dabas parks atrodas ainaviski skaistā vietā Šķilbēnu pagastā. Visapkart mežs, udens, klusums un putnu dziesmas. Daba te ir izveidojusi škeršlotu panoramu ar daudzam dzilam kraujam un ielejam. Parka teritorija atrodas ari augstakais punkts šaja apkartne – 142 m v.j.l. Ta ir energetiski speciga vieta. Ekskursantus dabas takas aizvedis lidz ierakumiem, kas saglabajušies no Latvijas atbrivošanas cinam 1919.-1920.gada. Dabas milotaji var iepazities ar parka sastopamajiem aizsargajamiem augiem, nobaudit dažadas zalu tejas un iepazities ar garšaugu aromatu pasauli. Bernus iepriecinas satikšanas ar koka grebtiem dzivniekiem – ziloni, kaki, skudru u.c. Ir iespeja paskandinat nogrimušas baznicas zvanu. Slepnis atrodas koordinates N57 04.0XX E27 34.8YY, kur XX = 40 + (vardu skaits uz bluka ar mazako vardu skaitu); un YY = 5*(vardu skaits uz bluka ar lielako vardu skaitu) + 2.
Man patik daba, bet tomer neesmu sunu un celmu slepnu cienitajs, tadel šis slepnis atrodas tuvak civilizacijai, iespejams, dažiem slepnotajiem liksies, ka parak tuvu.
[ENG] Balkani nature park is situated in a picturesque place surrounded by wood, water, silence and wood-notes. The nature there has deep steep banks and valleys. In the territory of the park there is also the highest hill in the locality – 142 m above sea level. It is energetically powerful place. Nature trails will lead the travellers to entrenchments survived from the independence battles of 1919 and 1920. Children will be glad to meet various wood-carved animals – an elephant, a cat, an ant etc. It is also possible to jingle the bell of a sunk church. Tired travellers will be able to have some rest at the fireplace or swimming in the near pond. It is also possible to stay there at night in a tent. Info from: www.etaka.lv.
This is quite simple multi-cache. At given coordinates there is parking place. On your way to the entry in the park you will notice 3 logs showing text in Latvian. The cache is hidden at coordinates N57 04.0XX E27 34.8YY, where XX = 40 + (number of words on the log with the smallest number of words on it); and YY = 5*(number of words on the log with the most words of these three logs) + 2.
Though I like nature and caches in beautiful places, I am not big fan of moss and stump hiding spots. Therefore, the cache is hidden closer to civilization, for some cachers maybe even too close.
