Geocache Description:

Cache is located on left river side of Daugava in Kliversala – it is name for one part of Riga - not very well known even amongst locals. Until 1988 In Kliversala was located Experimental mechanical ship factory of Riga. After privatization factory activities were stopped and buildings smashed up and whole territory degradeted. In 1990`s territory started to change with hotel Radison SAS development (hotel is located some 200 m from cache) and in 2007 was finished renovation of building in Kugu street 26. Now Kliversala territory is pleasant place to relax not only for tourists. There is memorable view to the Old Riga panorama.
