(FIN) ”Taru Sormusten herrasta” -kätkötrilogia koostuu multityyppisistä mysteerikätköistä ja voit etsiä ne vain tietyssä järjestyksessä. Ennen tätä on löydettävä kätkö (GC1WVCE) ”Sormuksen ritarit”. Kätkösarja vaatii etsijältään tarkkuutta, aikaa, ongelmanratkaisukykyä, kärsivällisyyttä, mielikuvitusta ja reilusti kävelyä metsäisillä mailla. Jos sinulta löytyy kaikkea edellä mainittua, niin onnea matkaan – tämä on kätkösarja juuri sinulle!
(ENG) “The Lord of the Rings” -cache trilogy consists of multi-like mystery caches and you can find them only in a certain order. Before this you must first find the cache (GC1WVCE) “The Fellowship of the Ring”. This cache series requires accuracy, time, problem-solving ability, patience, imagination and lots of walking in the forests. If you have all those qualities then have a lucky quest – this is a cache series just for you!

(FIN) Kauan sitten haltiat takoivat 20 kultaista sormusta ja yksi niistä, Sormusten Sormus annettiin Mustalle Ruhtinaalle nimeltään Sauron. Olet sormuksenviejä Frodo Reppuli ja lähdet kuljettamaan tätä vahvoja voimia omaavaa sormusta kohti Mordoria, Tuomiovuoren uumenia, missä se on aikoinaan taottu. Vasta siellä sen voi hävittää ja estää Sauronin Mustan Voiman paluun.
Ennen lähtöäsi sinun on siis löydettävä YKSI MAHTISORMUKSISTA mukaasi!
Matkalla kohtaat monia erilaisia haasteita ja siksi on tärkeää, että luet alla olevat ohjeet erittäin tarkasti ennen retkesi alkamista. Muista, että moni muukin havittelee Mahtisormusta – sen voima on suuri!
Sormuksia on yhteensä viisi, joista KOLME ON AINA KÄTKÖJEN SISÄLLÄ – yksi jokaisessa sarjan kätkössä – ja KAKSI KIERTÄÄ muissa kätköissä maksimissaan noin 30 kilometrin säteellä Kangasalta.

Matkan toinen osuus jatkuu Rivendellistä kohti lopullista määränpäätä, Mordorin Tuomiovuorta. Haltiat ovat auttaneet sinua ja jaksat jälleen kohdata uudet haasteet. Tapaat matkallasi Sormusta ahnaasti himoitsevan Klonkun, surkean olennon, joka kertoo haluavansa johdattaa sinut läpi Kalmansuon. Ole varovainen ja katso itse mihin astut, kaikkiin ei kannata täysin luottaa!
”Sormuksen ritarit” –kätköstä löytämäsi koordinaatit johdattavat sinut Keski-Maan kartan luo. Karttapisteellä tarvitset myös Sormusta, joka auttaa sinut kohti Mordorin salaista sisäänkäyntiä, Mustaa Porttia, jota vartioivat Tornit ja Sauronin silmä. Sinulta vaaditaan rohkeutta selvittää matkan varrella loppukätkön koordinaatit kallioisilta vuorenjyrkänteiltä, joita pitkin kiipeämällä pääset Cirith Ungolin Tornin luo. Varo valtavaa nälkäistä hämähäkkiä sekä Sauronia palvelevia julmia Örkkejä!
Löydettyäsi kätkön, JÄTÄ SORMUS sinne ja ota kätkössä ennestään oleva sormus sekä SARJAN SEURAAVAN KÄTKÖN ALKUKOORDINAATIT mukaasi!
Käveltävää tien varresta kätkölle on yhteensä noin 750 metriä, josta osa on metsäistä kapeaa polkua ja osa melko jyrkän ja kivisen rinteen kiipeämistä kaukaisen vuoren laella sijaitsevalle Cirith Ungolin Tornille. Lämpimänä vuodenaikana polulla voi paikoitellen olla hyvin kosteaa eli varustaudu sen mukaisesti. Lumisena talvena tie on kapea auton kääntämiseen, varo ettet juutu lumeen ja tarvittaessa jätä auto aiempaan risteykseen. Aikaa tällä kätköllä käymiseen kannattaa varata yli tunti! Hämäränä päivänä taskulamppu ja suurennuslasi ovat myös tarpeellisia välineitä. Huomioithan, että runsaasta puustosta johtuen GPS:n toiminta alueella ei ole aina tarkkaa.

(ENG) A long time ago the elves forged 20 golden rings and one of them, The One Ring was given to Dark Lord named Sauron. You are the Ring-Bearer Frodo Baggins and you carry this powerful Ring towards Mordor and the bowels of the Mount Doom, the place where the Ring was forged. Only there it can be destroyed and to prevent the return of the Dark Lord Sauron.
Before your journey you must find ONE OF THE RINGS to be with you!
During the journey you will face many different challenges and though it is important that you will read the instructions below very carefully. Remember that there are many others who desire to have the One Ring – it holds great powers!
There are total of five Rings, THREE OF THEM ARE ALWAYS INSIDE THE CACHES – one in each of the caches of this series – and TWO OF THEM TRAVELS in the other caches maximum of 30 kilometers from Kangasala.
NOTICE, THAT YOU CAN NOT FIND THE CACHE unless you have one of the two Rings, that travels in other caches, with you!When you find a ring it is important to write its CODE NUMBER down immediately. Please log the rings quickly so they will always show in the right caches, thanks!
WHEN YOU FIND THE CACHE YOU MUST LEAVE THE ONE RING INTO THE CACHE AND TO TAKE THE ONE RING INSIDE THE CACHE WITH YOU!

The second part of the journey continues from Rivendell towards the final goal, The Mount Doom of Mordor. The Elves has been helping you and you are able to face these new challenges. During the quest you will meet Gollum, the poor creature desperately craving for the Ring, and he wants to lead you through the Dead Marshes. Be careful and watch your steps, you should not entirely trust everyone!
The coordinates you have found form the cache “The Fellowship of the Rinf” lead you to the map of the Middle-earth. In this point you also need The Ring to help you towards the secret entrance of Mordor, the Black Gate, which is guarded by the Towers and the Eye of Sauron. You must have courage to find out the final coordinates along the route of steep and stony clifts of the Far Away Mountain. Those clifts lead you to the Tower of Cirith Ungol. Look out for the hungry spider and cruel Orcs that are servants of Sauron!
When you find this cache, LEAVE THE RING there and take the other Ring from the cache and the STARTING COORDINATES FOR THE SECOND CACHE with you!
The distance from the road to the cache is total of 750 meters. One part of it is walking on the narrow forest path and the other part is climbing the quite sheer and stony path to the top of the Far Away Mountain. In warm weather the path can be very wet, so equip yourself well. In snowy winter the road is really narrow for turning the car, be careful not to stuck on the snow, and if necessary park in some earlier crossing. Prepare to use more than one hour to visit this cache! In a dark day you may also need a flash light and a magnifying glass. Please notice that due to woods the GPS may not work well at this area.
