Ein gut zugänglicher Tradi in der Wildschönau - ideal in Wanderungen zu integrieren!
Der Cache liegt in der Wildschönau an einem klassischen Wegpunkt, den man eigentlich bei allen Wanderungen auf dem Markbachjoch mindestens einmal passiert.
Zunächst empfiehlt es sich mit der Seilbahn auf das Markbachjoch zu fahren. (Die Sportlicheren unter Euch können selbstverständlich auch zu Fuß hochgehen ;-))
Parken könnt ihr in beiden Fällen in der Ortschaft Niederau - direkt an der Gondel - bei den Koordinaten N 47° 26.870 E 012° 05.510.
Die Öffnungszeiten und Fahrpreise sind unter dem Link www.schatzbergbahn.at jederzeit abrufbar.
Von der Bergstation der Gondel aus rechts den Weg entlang Richtung Käsealm. Ihr passiert hierbei eine Jausenstation, die wir - ob vor oder nach der Suche - auf jeden Fall für eine Einkehr empfehlen können.
Bei N 47° 28.884 E 012° 05.300 habt ihr dann die Qual der Wahl:
Entweder die "gemütliche" Variante: Folgt weiter dem markierten Weg Richtung Käselalm, dort angekommen dem markierten Weg Richtung Halsgatterl/Roßkopf.
... oder die "ambitioniertere", steilere Route: Geradeaus die Skipiste hoch (bzw. alternativ geradeaus entlang dieser am Waldrand dem markierten Weg Richtung "Halsgatterl") bis zur Bergstation des neuen Sessellifts und dann links in den Wald auf der markierten Route Richtung Roßkopf.
So und so kommt ihr nach ca. 45-60 Minuten - gerechnet vom Ausstieg der Gondel an - am Cache quasi direkt vorbei :-)
Erstausstattung der "Click-Box":
- Logbuch
- Stift
- Spitzer (diese 3 Gegenstände bitte im Cache belassen)
- GC "Rolling Home Coin"
- 2 blaue Steine
- 2 weiße Steine
- 2 Muscheln
- 1 Kompass (den ihr hoffentlich nicht braucht)
- 1 Kartenspiel
Bitte tauscht fair und lasst den Cache nicht zu einer Ansammlung unnützer Plastikteile verkommen!

Halsgatterl
A traditional Cache in the Wildschönau area - perfectly to be integrated into hikes within this area.
The cache is located in the Wildschönau area at a typical waypoint, which you should pass at least once on every hike you start at Markbachjoch.
First of all we recommend to use the gondola to get on top of the Markbachjoch (of course you can walk up there if you are a very sportive guy ;-))
You can park your car in the little village Niederau - the gondola offers a lot of free parking space - at the
coordinates N 47° 26.870 E 012° 05.510.
Opening hours as well as the prices to go up the hill are available at www.schatzbergbahn.at
Once you reach the mountain station follow the way to your right (head for "Käsealm"). You will pass a little
restaurant called "Markbachjoch-Alm" with an integrated petting zoo.
(having a break there right now or before you make your way back down again is one of our recommendations)
At N 47° 28.884 E 012° 05.300 you can choose:
Either you make it the "comfortable" way: follow the marked route to "Käsealm" to your left, once there follow the marked
route to "Halsgatterl/Roßkopf" to your right.
Or make it the more "ambitious" but also the more rampant way: Head straight on - up the skiing slope - until you reach the mountain station of a new chair lift, then turn left and
follow the marked route to "Halsgatterl/Roßkopf".
Each way brings you almost directly to the cache. It will take you about 45-60 minutes to get there once leaving the
gondola.

- 2 white stones
- 2 sea shells
- 1 compass (which you hopefully do not need)
- 1 deck of cards
