On Loop Road, right after the bridge over the Dead River.
If you come from the south, up Long Falls Dam Road, you will pass the Big Eddy Campground and go over the bridge where the Dead River is all white water. Loop Road will be on your right. The Dead River got its name from its meandering, sluggish nature. But here it is all froth and roar and white water. Stand on the bridge and enjoy the view. The name of this cache comes from the days when there used to be a Dead River canoe and kayak race in the spring. That wasn't held here, but here the Dead is certainly alive!
The cache is a plastic lock box, almost regular size, but not quite. A short walk in from the road.
