This is a quick park and grab in view of the great spillway on the reservoir. On the right days, the sounds you'll hear are as much of a treat as the view.

Most roads in North Salem are not very cache friendly since the town residents strive to preserve the historical integrity of the surroundings and not encourage stop and goers on the local residential thorofares. Many hiking trails and walking tours exist through the wooded areas though and all are invited to enjoy the local beauty.
Lack of industry and commercial sites are most of the charm through this residential town. Enjoy the site and look forward to others in the area!
