This cache is a camo taped small bottle. It contains only a log. Please bring your own pen or pencil. The cache is located near the gravesite of Lily Peter.
Lily Peter, known by most as Miss Lily, was born and raised in Phillips County. She was an ecologist, farmer, author and served as Arkansas's poet laureate from 1971-1991. She was also a philanthropist, donating money to the local community college to build a Fine Arts theater.
This is one of the new caches being placed along the Great River Road National Scenic Byway, which celebrated its 70th anniversary in 2008. Ten original caches were placed in the 10 Arkansas Delta counties along the Arkansas portion of the Great River Road as part of the 10-state anniversary celebration. Since the original caches have been such a hit, I've decided to add 10 more caches. I hope you enjoy them!
