`This is Lovely trail and if you travel to its end you will be at the reversing falls which also has a cache (Reversing Goose) in the series.
Enter the Sanctuary and you will find parking for the Goose Falls trail along the dock road in the sanctuary. There are maps at most trail head that you can look at. They are well marked.
Holbrook Island Sanctuary is managed as a nature and wildlife sanctuary, rather than as a park. Holbrook Island has well-maintained hiking trails, picnic tables, and considerable shore frontage. There is birds, plants and wild animal galore. There is Breath taking view around every turn. This is a little known gem of Maine. This area is well worth the trip bring you camera and enjoy!
