CALLING ALL FELLOW GEOCACHERS:
I've just been released from the hospital with a chipped ungual,
which I received as a result of a series of unfortunate events that
occurred when attempting to place my first Geocache hide. As you
can imagine due to the severity of my injury, I'll need to take it
easy for a while, which is why I need YOUR HELP. But more on that
later... First I need to take some more pain
medication.
And to think that the day had started out so
well...
I had decided that I'd had enough with the
continual headaches and sleepless nights trying to figure out
Kbrunog's puzzle caches…and then to find out that Xriva and Kbrunog
were in fact the same person was just too much to bear.
I wasn't going to take it anymore.
I was going to give him some of his own
medicine.
That's right! I'd place my OWN puzzle
cache.
And best of all, I'd used my vast array of
technical skills to come up with a cipher to code the coordinates
in a way that was SO clever that it would be very difficult to
crack!
After a bit of searching, and stumbling over
other people's caches already in all the good locations, I found
the perfect spot. Now it was time to put my (very clever) cipher
into action. I pulled out my camera and asked various nearby
muggles to take pictures of me...
This first picture was taken by a guy on a
bike:
These two were was taken by a couple out for
a walk.
This one was taken by a man walking his
dog.
This one was taken by family picnicing at at
a nearby park.
That's when the trouble started...
I needed one more picture to complete
recording the coordinates in my (very clever) cipher. I saw an
elderly lady sitting on a nearby bench. I asked her if she'd take a
picture of me with my camera. She readily agreed. However, when I
made the appropriate hand-cipher, instead of snapping the picture,
she started hitting me with her cane! (which is how I sustained the
afforementioned injury) Then she yelled at me. Then she threw my
camera on the sidewalk, and walked off muttering.
I don't think I'll EVER understand what sets
off these muggles! They always seem to turn on me...
Anyhow, sorry, but I'm missing a picture that
I had intended to post with this cache - and sadly, my camera
doesn't seem to be working - I think it was damaged in the
incident. Worse yet, without the final picture, I can't seem to
figure out where my cache is.
My first cache hide and I've LOST
it!
I'm hoping someone out there can help me
locate it, and maybe even give me some insight as to why the muggle
attacked me in this fashion. (Was it something I said?!?) If you
can somehow find it, there's a FTF prize in there that even someone
with a fondness for repdigits would appreciate...
By the way, the cache may be difficult to
spot as I put a lot of camo on the container.
Ooooooh… Time for more pain
medication…
