Lembro que a eventual reactivação desta cache passará pelo mesmo processo de análise como se fosse uma nova cache, com todas as implicações que as guidelines actuais indicam.

Se no local existe algum container, por favor recolha-o a fim de evitar que se torne lixo (geolitter).

Geocache Description:

P: Na estrada N8-5 entre Alcobaça e a Fervença (direcção Nazaré), encontra-se a Antiga Central que transformava energia hidráulica em elétrica. Esta energia destinava-se a ser utilizada na fábrica têxtil Fiação e Tecidos, que funcionava algumas centenas de metros a jusante do rio.

O cenário de abandono destas instalações é desolador. No entanto, este abandono dá-lhe também um carácter de raridade.

A recente limpeza do mato permitiu visitar outras partes do edifício, anteriormente inacessíveis. Para a visita/descoberta deste local é necessário ter cuidado onde se põe os pés.

Após períodos de chuvas intensas algumas partes podem estar inundadas ou enlameadas, pelo que se recomenda um cuidado especial.

Entre o local recomendado para estacionar e as coordenadas da cache tem de se caminhar 300 mt junto à Estrada N8-4, que tem algum movimento. Seja cauteloso. Não leve crianças consigo.

E: At the road N8-5 between Alcobaça and Fervença (direction Nazaré), you found the Ancient Hydroelectric Central. The energy is produced to the textile factory Fiação e Tecidos, few hundred meters downriver.

The place is abandoned, the scenery is rare with a lack of maintenance. To visit the place, watch you feet. After hard rain, some parts could be flooded or muddy.

Between the parking place and the central, you must walk 300 meters near the road. Could have traffic. Be careful. Roadkill not allowed ;-). Avoid take children with you.
