hugo.jesus: Novo regresso ao local para tentar repor esta cache no activo, porém ainda não é viável, pois o nível das águas ainda se encontra acima do normal colocando o ponto zero submerso, e grande parte do percurso em volta do lago debaixo de água e bastante danificado.
Tendo em conta as actuais circunstâncias, opto por arquivar esta cache. [:(]

Dunas Douradas [Loulé]

Esta cache encontra-se perto da praia e junto à lagoa das Dunas Douradas.

A pequena lagoa, está encaixada entre o mar, dois aldeamentos turísticos e alguns pinhais, que tem sobrevivido à pressão urbanística envolvente. Encontra-se coberta por alguma vegetação emergente e serve de refúgio a diferentes espécies de aves aquáticas. Do lado poente da lagoa existe uma torre de observação, enquanto do lado nascente existem alguns pinheiros e arbustos que podem ser usados como camuflagem na observação das aves.

Pretende-se com esta cache dar a conhecer a beleza das Dunas Douradas e sua envolvência, mas também alertar para as crescentes atrocidades cometidas na construção de novos empreendimentos turísticos sobre a zona de dunas e seus ecossistemas. Infelizmente o “poder do dinheiro” de alguns, continua a prevalecer sobre a preservação dos recursos naturais de todos.

This cache is near to the beach and close to the pond of Dunas Douradas.

The small pond, it’s fitted between the sea, two tourist resorts and some pines, which has been surviving to the urbanism development involving pressure. Be covered by some emergent vegetation and it serves of refuge to different sorts of aquatic birds. From the west side of the pond exist a tower of observation, while from the east side there are some pines and shrubs that can be used like camouflage in the observation of the birds.

The intention of this cache is to show to all visitors, the beauty of Dunas Douradas and its natural resources, but also to alert for the growing atrocities committed on the construction of new tourist resorts over the dunes and its ecosystems. Unfortunately the “power of money” of someone, keeps on prevailing over the preservation of the natural resources of all.
