We originally had hoped to hide a regular cache in this area, but
when we looked closer at the damage to the area & the high
muggle activity, we agreed with the City that a higher traffic area
was better for the health of the park. Unfortunately, high traffic
areas are tough places to hide big lock and locks, so we downgraded
this one to one of the dreaded "micro in the woods"
Please come prepared for CITO when you visit this cache. The
area needs any help it can get.
Enter from the gravel trail at the northwest part of the woods
near the cache site. When you have to step over a log across the
path, stop and look ahead and to the right for a large Douglas Fir
with deep craggy bark - I'd recommend starting your search at eye
level on the side of the tree facing the trail.
The difficulty on this one has been adjusted upwards three times
now based on feedback.
If you have to do any bushwacking at all, you're doing something
way wrong. GPS signals can be spotty here, Ive looked at the
coordinates twice and have found them pretty close but we're seeing
reports that their out - in different directions.
