(FIN) Tuuloksen Pyhälle Birgitalle omistettu kirkko on maamme pienimpiä keskiaikaisia harmaakivikirkkoja. Alun pitäen kirkko on rakennettu todennäköisesti Sairialan kartanokirkoksi. Asiakirjojen mukaan kirkon rakennustyöt aloitettiin 1478 silloisen kartanon isännän Knut Possen toimesta. Kirkon arvellaan valmistuneen viimeistään 1520. Nykyisen asunsa kirkko sai 1950.
Kirkossa on 1400-luvulta peräisin oleva pyhän Birgitan puuveistos. Alttarin päällä on krusifiksi, joka alunperin on ollut triumfiristi. Alttariseinällä on tuulolaisen taidemaalarin Hjalmar Munsterhjelmin vuonna 1863 maalaama taulu ”Kristus Getsemanessa”.
Avoinna: koulujen kesälomien aikaan yleensä ma-su klo 10-16, muina aikoina sopimuksen mukaan.

(ENG) Church of Pyhä Birgitta in Tuulos is one of the smallest grey stone Church from the Middle Ages in Finland. It is likely that it was originally built for a Sairiala Mansion Church. The documents show that the construction work was started in 1478 by the current mansion owner Knut Posse. It was completed approximately in year 1520. The current look is from the year 1950.
In the Church there is a wood sculpture of the Saint Birgitta from the 15th century. Above the altar there is a crucifix that has originally been a triumph cross. in the altar wall there is a painting from year 1863 “Christ in Getsemane” from the painter Hjalmar Munsterhjelm who lived in Tuulos.
Opening hours: during summer holidays (June-August) usually Mon-Sun 10:00-16:00, other times as agreed.
