Kätkö sijaitsee Isterin uimarannalla. Kätkö on 2,75 metrin korkeudella, joten 1,70 metriä lyhyempien kannattaa ottaa mukaan joku koroke ylettyäkseen kätkölle.
The cache is situated at the beach called Isterin ranta. The cache is at the height of 2,75 meters. Persons shorter than 1,70 need to bring with them something to stand on to reach the cache.

Isterin uimarantaa kutsutaan myös Oulunsuun tai Emännäntien uimarannaksi. Tämä ranta sijaitsee Oulujoen etelärannalla, Ranta-Kastellin asuinalueella. Isterin ranta on ollut alueen asukkaiden virkistyskäytössä jo yli puoli vuosisataa.
Asuinalueen vanhemmat rakennukset ovat 1940 ja 1950 luvuilta. Uudempi asuntokanta on rakennettu 1980-90 luvuilla. Aikaisempina vuosina Isterin rannalla on ollut mattolaituri, mikä on houkutellut rannalle välillä runsaastikin väkeä. Oulun kaupungin vähennettyä vedenpäällä olevia matonpesupaikkojaan ympäristösyistä on tämä ranta hieman hiljentynyt. Joen pohja rannalla on melko äkkisyvä, joten ranta ei ole pienille lapsille kovin turvallinen. Rannalla on mukavan kokoinen hiekka-alue ja nurmikenttä auringonottoa varten. Alueelta löytyvät pukukopit, käymälä ja pari penkkiä, joilla alueella asuvaa vanhempaa väkeä käy kauniilla säällä istuskelemassa. The beach of Isteri is also known by the name the beach of Oulunsuu or the beach of Emännäntie. It is situated by the southern side of the river Oulujoki at the housing area of Ranta-Kastelli. The beach of Isteri has been a recreation area for more than 50 years. The older houses in the area have been built between 1940-60 and the newer ones about between 1985-2000. During the previous summers there used to be a guay for washing carpets by the beach. This used to attract occasionally quite a lot of people to the beach. Since the town of Oulu has decreased those washing places for environmental reasons, this beach is more quiet nowadays. The shore is quite steep and because of that it is not safe for small children. On the beach there is a nice sand area and lawn for sun-batheing. On the area you can also find beach cabins, a toilet and a couple of benches, where older people, who live in the area, like to sit in nice weather. The city of Oulu controls the quality of the swiming water by taking samples regularly. Link: (visit link)
