Vienas no Jurmalas vizitkartem - Dzintaru koncertzales, stasts aizsakas jau 19. gadsimta beigas, un lidz pat 20. gadsimta divdesmitajiem gadiem ta bija pazistama ka Edinburgas kurmajas koncertdarzs. Kad 1874. gada 23. marta cara Aleksandra II meita lielknaze Marija izgaja pie vira - apprecejas ar Edinburgas hercogu, tika sarikots liels pasakums par godu šim laulibam.1874. gada pardeveja rajonu un peldbiedribu par Edinburgu, un velejas uzbuvet teatra skatuvi. Skatuves celtniecibai bija nepieciešamas finanses, un peldsabiedriba versas pie imperatora. Pec pavisam neilga laika - 1897. gada, šaja vieta, "starp Bulduriem un Majoriem" - tika uzbuveta skatuve...
Kopš dibinašanas Edinburgas koncertdarzs bija vairak orientets uz vieglo muziku - deju muzikas vakari, operetes, variete makslinieki.
1936. gada 25. julija - pec arhitekta Viktora Mellenberga un Aleksandra Birzenieka projekta tika celta slegta koncertzale.
1962. gada arhitekta M. Gelža vadiba tika uzcelta atklata zale. Dzintaru koncertzale kluva par ieverojamako un iecienitako kurortu koncertzali Padomju Savieniba.
Koncertus te sniedza ari izcili arzemju muziku kolektivi: Varšavas Nacionalais simfoniskais orkestris (1959), Danijas Karaliskais simfoniskais orkestris (1966), Berlines simfoniskais orkestris (1972).
Pec neatkarigas valsts statusa atgušanas pamazam sak realizeties daudzi nozimigi kulturas projekti. Dzintaru koncertzali par pasakumu norises vietu izvelejušies humora festivals „Jurmala", „Jautro un atjautigo klubs" un Starptautiskais popularas muzikas jauno izpilditaju konkurss „Jaunais vilnis".
Kopš 2000.gada koncertu skaits sezona ieverojami palielinajas katru gadu, iezimejot kulturas augšupeju.

Dzintari concert hall is one of the most favorite places in Jurmala and its story has began at the end of 19th century. Even on twenties of 20th century it was known as a concert park of health resort of Edinburgh.
When the duke of Edinburg married the grand duke Maria, who was the daughter of czar Alexandr II on 23d March, 1874, the great evening was organized for their wedding and as a result of it, the association renamed itself and this area by name Edinburg, and planned to build theatrical stage. As they needed financial support for stage building, the association appealed to emperor.
So shortly there was built a stage "between Bulduri and Majori".
Since foundation of the concert park of Edinburg, there was more of light music and lot of dancing nights, operetta, variety shows.
On 27th June of 1936 was opened a new season and on 25th July was built a new indoor concert hall by architects Viktors Mellenbergs and Aleksandrs Birzenieks.
New opened concert hall was built by architect M.Gelzis on 1962. This concert hall of Dzintari became the most popular and the most prominent concert hall of health resort in whole Soviet Union.
There were special concerts performed by prominent foreign music bands like National symphonic orchestra from Warsaw (1959), Royal symphonic orchestra from Denmark (1966), symphonic orchestra from Berlin (1972).
Slowly the many important cultural projects became real after country revival of independence.
It is a quite increase of amount of concerts by every season since 2000.
