Please put the cache back as it was, thank you! ******* ******* ******* (FIN) Längelmäki tuli itsenäiseksi seurakunnaksi vuonna 1640. Längelmäen kirkko on puinen barokkityylinen ristikirkko ja sijaitsee Hakosalmen kylässä. Sen on rakentanut vuosina 1772-1774 Längelmäellä syntynyt kirkonrakentaja Antti Piimänen (1714-1775), joka oli aikakautensa tunnetuimpia ja arvostetuimpia kirkonrakentajia Suomessa. Hän loi Lounais-Suomessa ja Hämeessä suositun pitkäkirkkotyypin. Längelmäen kirkko on ollut alkuperäiseltä väriltään punamultakirkko. Kirkkomuseo sijaitsee sakastin yläkerrassa ja makasiinimuseo Kirkkotien toisella puolella. Sakasti ja museo ovat vuosilta 1895-1896. Sakastissa säilytetään vanhojen arvokkaiden messukasukoiden ja kirkkopalvelukseen liittyvien esineiden ohella kolmea arvokasta maalausta. Moottoripyöräkätkö sijaitsee sellaisen reitin varrella, jota voi suositella moottoripyöräilyyn, ja joka sopii erityisesti rauhalliseen ja rentoon ajeluun. Kätkö sijaitsee päällystetyn tien varressa tai korkeintaan vain muutama sata metriä tieltä. Paikka on sellainen, että kätkön voi etsiä helposti pyöräilyvarusteissakin. ******* ******* ******* (ENG) Längelmäki became independent parish in 1640. The Church of Längelmäki is a wooden cross-church of baroque style and it is located in the village of Hakosalmi. It was built in 1772-1774 by the famous church builder Antti Piimänen (1714-1775). He was born in Längelmäki and in his time he was very highly respected professional. He created the style of “long churches” that was popular in South-West Finland and in Häme. The original colour of the Churhc of Längelmäki was red ochre. The Church museum is in the second floor of sacristy and the storehouse museum is in the other side of the road. They are from the years 1895-1896. In the sacristy there are set of church objects and three valuable oil paintings. Motorbike cache is beside the route that can be recommended for motor bikers and the route is especially good for relaxed driving. The cache is located beside a tarmac road or not over a few hundred meters from that road. The cache is easily reachable with the motor biker clothes also.
