Geocache Description:

This tribute cache used to be a silver ammo box in honor of Butcherandswimmer or we know him as Butcher, and his wife swimmer. This is Butcher's 1000 find milestone. This is a short, but very nice walk where the river winds and the trails intersect. Then you are not far from the cache. Parking and trailhead start at Harrison Park. With a good size parking lot that is located on West100th St. between of Old Shakopee Rd. and James Ave.South.

Butcher has been geocaching since May, 2003 and reached his 1000th milestone on April 25, 2009 at K.B.'s 2000th. So we are now finally hiding his 1000th find/hide. Also in that time he has placed 27 caches. Some of Butchers caches are feared among many, and very clever, like "LOST" and "Tangeled-Mess" and "Walk By Me" to mention a few. Butcher is always helpful with a hint or clue. If you ever cached with Butcher on a Wednesday or Friday night cache group, you probably had some of his home made snack sticks. Good luck Geocahing Butcher and we will see you on the trail. Contents of the cache are,Tennis Ball,Metal Compass, Dora, Wart-Hog, Happy-feet, Goofy, Micro Fiber Cloth, Race Car, Bobber, Carpenters Pencil, LED Flashlight, 3-D Glasses, 4-Leaf clover good luck coin, Harley-Davidson license plate, and a log book.
