Geocache Description:

This cache is a small lock-n-lock container, located in a wooded area near the remains of the first dam in Easton, CT.

Park in the small dirt area on South Park Ave. (near the bridge) or at the dirt lot in front of the William S. Warner Angler’s Preserve and then cross the street.

Travel on the small trail/path near the river (right off of the small dirt parking area), and be sure to tread lightly if you stray from the trail. Because it is in a forested area, please be mindful that there are many ticks/bugs during the spring/summer.

Included in the cache is a log book with two pencils, a few small treasures, and a little prize for the FTF. There is limited room in this cache, so please keep the items small! If you take something, please leave an item of similar value for the next geocacher.

Note: The old dam is not visible from the road/bridge/parking areas, but you are!

Please reseal carefully to protect it from the elements, and place it back exactly where you found it, hiding it well. Thank you! Have fun and happy cachin’!
