Sunday: Bike Like a Cacher Event Cache

This is the third of three cache events in the Rogers City area during the weekend of August 28, 29, & 30 (Friday night, Saturday & Sunday). The events are sponsored by Hoeft State Park, Presque Isle Conservation District, MSU Extension, the Rogers City Marina, & 40 Mile Point Lighthouse.

The Sunday event features the Rogers City Bike Trail which was recently extended and now runs from Rogers City to the 40 Mile Point Lighthouse. Registration begins Sunday at 9:00 a.m. at the Rogers City Marina at the above coordinates. There is ample parking at this location for individuals wishing to ride their bikes, which is the best way to do the caches involved. It is also possible to do the caches by driving & hiking, but not near as much fun. There are approximately a dozen caches accessible easily from the bike trail, with more on the way prior to this event. The format will be a simple poker run. Complete rules available at the registration table. The prizes will be awarded at the 40 Mile Point Lighthouse at 3:00 p.m.
