Geocache Description:

While visiting Swansboro's Riverview Park, find the White Oak River View cache !

You are searching for an ammo box. Please rehide exactly as found. Kids play in this area fairly frequently, so be careful when searching not to attract attention. The cache is best approached from the right.

There is plenty of parking in the red brick lot, which is open 24-hours. Take some time while visiting to look through the telescope mounted here (its free). You'll see Jones Island, which used to be known as "For Sale Island" for years due to a sign on it visible from the bridges. Most of Jones Island has since been added to Hammocks Beach State Park, 7 miles away and well worth a visit by ferry.
