Geocache Description:

Cache No. 6 on the Crewe and Nantwich Circular walk. A round trip of 28 miles on flat but, at times, muddy fields and canal tow paths.

The Crewe and Nantwich circular walk circles the two towns of south Cheshire and takes in some interesting locations. It can be a bit muddy and badly signed so I thought that a new cache series might make the route a bit more trampled and obvious. The plan is to locate a cache at approximately 1 mile intervals along the route, starting at No. 1 on the Northern section. Anyone can join in and place a cache on the route - the more the merrier, but try and stick to the one mile rule to start it off.

For anyone familiar with the series - here we go again! But be warned, this is a walkers cache and not a quick grab. It would be very unwise to go in shorts or a skirt as there are loads of nettles about in summer. That said, you could not do the Crewe and Nantwich walk without hugging a railway line for a while, and this one needs a hug. The contrast between engineering and nature is very stark and I think they both win the contest.

This little nano is the type of cache that drives me bonkers - simply because I can never get the log book out, so revenge is sweet. Take tweesers and pencil and enjoy the day.
