Geocache Description:

The cache is not (I repeat "NOT") at the listed coordinates, but a short walk away. Please solve the following puzzle to gain the actual coordinates of the cache itself. Be very cautious of muggles at final GZ. I suggest a late afternoon approach. Please sure to recover the container and be sure to snap it closed on all four corners. No writing utensil in it. Please be sure to bring one.

Released in 1968, "The Yellow Submarine" is an animated classic which bears the same name as the song released in 1966, which it was based on. If you lived in London circa mid 1960's you'll remember the song being at the top of every major music listing for 4 consecutive weeks. If you lived in America, (and could forgive the "bigger than Jesus" controversy) you may have been exposed to the condensed American theatrical release of this film. If you were raised by hippies as a child, then you've seen this movie enough times to brainwash a brick wall. Finally, whether you're a Beatles fan or not, you will have to watch the film if you want to find the cache.

Amongst the hundreds of images, messages, allusions, satires, and easter eggs buried within the frames of this cult classic, are a few points of interest I have taken the liberty to point out. As you view this mind-bending masterpiece, simply follow along and the coordinates will be revealed. You are looking to satisfy this sequence: (North AB CD.EFG West HIJ KL.MNO). I have chosen them in chronological order so as to reduce unnecessary abuse, (except for the last two: see my note below). No clues within songs, and some questions have "0" for an answer, so have fun and remember that "it's all in the mind!"

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A: Start counting immediately after "Once upon a time" (if you hit the clouds, you've gone to far)
B: Under the film's first rainbow is a string of characters; second shape to the left.
C: How many flowers does young/old Fred pick before smelling them?
D: When Young/Old Fred first notifies the Mayor of Pepperland that the Blue Meanies are coming, how many members are in the band? How many member's instruments does Young/Old Fred end up playing simultaneously? (Add those two numbers together)

"Yellow Submarine"
"Eleanor Rigby"

E: When Ringo is first being stalked by the the sneaky submersible, how many archways is it "seen" lurking in/past?
F: When Young/Old Fred bangs on the door asking for help, there are few letters written above his head. How many?
G: How many words does Frankenstein say before transforming?
H: After his modest introduction, George drives a "Green" car past the screen how many times?

"All Together Now"
"When I'm 64"
"Only Northern Song"

I: Before ejecting a cigar from the front, the submarine deploys a banner out the back. How many letters are in the middle word? (They're also a good band, btw)
J: After being rescued by the 7th cavalry, how many arrows remain in Ringo, after he pulls the first two out?

"Nowhere Man"
"Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds"

K: While the 4 band members are tossing the giant apple, how many times is the apple caught before it is finally dropped?
L: The butterfly is nearly trampled to death by a "certain" Blue Meanie.
M: When sounding off, one result becomes so puzzling that it merits an awkward pause in march. Which number?

"Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band"
"With a Little Help from My Friends" (Intro)

N: His Blueness is standing on a hilltop with several other Blue Meanies. Try to read the number on the Blue Meanie to the far right, before Glove is told to "o-blue-terate them."

"All You Need is Love"

O: Lastly, when covering "His Blueness" in flowers, what word does the Nowhere man continue to repeat? (Spell it).

"It's All Too Much"
"All Together Now"
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(NOTE: some versions of the movie do/don't included certain songs. This has no effect on the clues, and I've listed songs which are present in all releases)

For making it this far, you have my respect; but you will still have to avoid a few more Blue Meanies in the form of muggles in order to successfully complete your journey. Although the listed waypoint is beneath the waves, the final solution is tucked away deep within a "sea of green." (For maximum enjoyment: I suggest a bottle of wine, the company of a friend, and enough leisure to enjoy the sunset over the surrounding tree and skyline... oh, and of course, Love)

I've stuffed a few trinkets in there for the early finders. Please limit one per team/finder. This includes either a keychain or music box for the FTF, and whichever is left for the STF. Buttons are 1 per find/team until they are all gone.
