Geocache Description:

The Andrássy-Almásy Castle and Chapel are located in Kétegyháza. The castle was built in 1742 by Zsigmond Andrássy, later the Almásy family bought it. They reblocked it in neorenaissance style. Since 1952 it gives place to an agricultural high school and college.

Kétegyháza can be approached from Békéscsaba or Gyula. Entrance to the park: 6 Gyulai Str.

You can enter the park of the castle free but you have to check in at the porter at the main entrance. Tell him you would like to look around the park. (In Hungarian: “Szét szeretnénk nézni a parkban.”) Because of this it’s advisable to search only during the day. Please enter only the main gate, do not climb the fence or try to enter elsewhere.
