La première pierre du Musée Hergé (auteur de Tintin) a été posée par Fanny Rodwell, présidente des Studios Hergé, le 21 mai 2007. Le Musée, d'une surface de 3600m², est situé à l'orée du Bois de la Source, là où la ville surplombe le parc par un quai. La forme du musée représente un prisme allongé qui semble flotter dans la forêt de vieux arbres. Depuis le quai, une passerelle est tendue vers le musée comme vers un bateau. Christian de Portzamparc, qui a reçu le Pritzker Prize, est l'architecte du musée. La cache sera idéalement combinée avec la multicache « LLN – Centre Urbain ».
The foundation stone of the Hergé Museum (author of Tintin) was laid by Fanny Rodwell, President of Hergé Studios, on May 21, 2007. The Museum, covering 3,600 m2, is located at the edge of the Source woods, with a viewing platform overlooking the town. The museum is built in the shape of an elongated prism which seems to float on the forest of ancient trees. The road zigzags away below. The footpath from the viewing platform to the museum resembles a ship's gangplank. The museum was designed by Christian de Portzamparc, a Pritzker-Prize-winning architect. The cache will be best combined with the multicache “LLN – Centre Urbain”.
