A sul da Arrifana está uma praia de calhau rolado chamada Praia do
Canal. É uma praia procurada apenas por surfistas. Na maré vazia
tem alguma areia sendo que nessa altura liga com a praia do Penedo
e Vale Figueiras. Deste local tem-se uma vista privilegiada sobre a
Pedra da Agulha. Não tem estruturas de apoio e não é vigiada.
A cache está fácil de encontrar num sitio que pode dar algum
trabalho a alcançar. Se for no inverno tenham cuidado pois pode
estar escorregadio.
Para chegarem ao Canal há vários acessos possíveis e todos eles são
em terra batida.
Esta cache está no Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano e da Costa
Vicentina. Não se esqueçam então de ajudar a preservar a Natureza e
a beleza natural do local, algum lixo que encontrem na praia
levem-no para junto dos contentores do parque de estacionamento -

At south side of Arrifana's beach there's a pebble beach called
Canal. It's a beach frequented only by surfers. In low tide has
some sand, when it connects with the beach of Vale Figueiras and
Penedo. This place has a privileged view of the Pedra da Agulha.
Has no support structures, and is not monitored.
The cache is easy to find and it's placed in a site that can give
some work to achieve. In the winter be careful because it can be
slippery.
There are several ways to reach the Canal and they're all on dirt
road.
This cache is in the Natural Park of Southwest Alentejo and Costa
Vicentina. Then do not forget to help preserve nature and natural
beauty of the place, any garbage you have find on the beach please
take it to the container in the car park - Cache In, Trash
Out!
