Residential area. The cache is on the white picket fence at my mom's house. Both she and her husband know about it, so you will not encounter any problems at the cache. Feel free to say hi if you see them.
The cache itself is a standard black mailbox with a red fold-up flag on it. It contains a log book, hopefully some travel bugs on their journey, and, when available, little German-related (my family's heritage) knick-knacks to take.
I teach at a German summer and Saturday program and am not soliciting or advertising the program in any way.
I found out about Geocaching and thought it would be a great activity to do with students to teach them about maps, GPS, and diversity.
You can help out by leaving a note in the log book about what area or culture you are related to so we can explore some maps and discover where people come from.
