Geocache Description:

LT: Yra už poros šimtu metru nuo Tauragnu - Kazitiškio vieškelio. Akmuo yra nupjauto kugio formos, jame iškalti vos ižiurimi metai - 1860. Šalia šio akmens guli kitas, mažesnis - Mokiukas.

ENG: It is over two hundred meters from the road Tauragnai - Kazitiškis. The stone has the form of a cut cone and is inscribed with the date 1860. A smaller stone, Mokiukas, lies next to this big one. Legend tells how they came to be there. Long ago, there lived a man Mokas, who had a very strong belief in pagan religion. When Christianity spread to the area of his home, he traveled to the north with his wife Mokiene and his son Mokiukas. After a short way, Tauragnas Lake blocked their way. Mokas and his son could swim very well and resolved to swim across the lake, but his wife could not swim well. Mokas ordered his wife to swim and not to turn back because if she should see the bank left far behind, she would become afraid and sink. When they reached the middle of the lake Mokiene wanted to turn back, but she became scared and sank. The father and a son crossed the lake successfully and waited for Mokiene. When Mokiene didn't come, they started to weep tearfully. Their pain was so great, that in their heartbreak, they turned to stone.
