The church of St Andrew’s Bulmer is sited on a high ridge
overlooking the village street and is designated as a Grade 1
listed Building. There is a large Churchyard with an avenue of
mature lime trees. The burial ground was extended in 1876. St
Andrew’s Church was originally built in the late C12 but the oldest
surviving part of the church is the north doorway dating from the
late C13. This was probably re-set from the nave when the North
Aisle extension was added.
