Magyarürög is now a suburb of Pécs, but used to be a separate village until 1930, became officially the part of Pécs in 1950.
The Roman Catholic Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary into Heaven - Nagyboldogasszony templom in Hungarian - was built in the 12th-13th century, rebuilt in the 18th century.
The church can be visited before and after mass or if arranged in the rectory in advance. Mass is held every Sunday and on religious holidays at 9:15 am. For an appointment at other times you may call +36 72 251 313.
The church is surrounded by a small cemetery and a garden. That is where the cache is located. It can be accessed any time, but daytime visits are encouraged, as it is a quiet neighborhood. You may attract unwanted attention if arriving at night and dogs start barking.
