Geocache Description:

Accès au parking de départ (N 47° 46.001 E 005° 11.485) par la route départemental 141d. Suivez ensuite le chemin qui longe la falaise jusqu’à l’escalier qui vous fera descendre dans les gorges et remonter le fil de l’eau jusqu’à la cascade.

Seul "canyon" haut-marnais creusé par l'eau dans les terrains calcaires. Au temps des croisades, ce vallon sauvage était le lieu de promenade d'un seigneur d'Aprey et de son épouse Jeanne. Le bonheur cessa à la mort de Jeanne. Le jeune homme aimait à revenir en ces lieux où il se rappelait : "Là, vint Jeanne".

For starting the hunt reach the car-park (N 47° 46.001 E 005° 11.485) by the RD141d road. Then follow the trail running along the cliff to the steps from where you will go down to the “canyon” and follow the river up to the waterfall.

The only "canyon" in Haute-Marne, gouged out of the limestone terrain by water. In the time of the crusades, this wild valley was the place for walking of a Lord of Aprey and his wife Jeanne. The happiness stopped in Jeanne's death. The young man liked returning on the scene or he remembered himself of Jeanne.
