Parking in the nearby National Trust car park is free but restricted to the opening times of the nearby gold mine - access is however allowed at all other times to the cache location.
While you're at this location, not far from the cache location is a strange squareish looking standing stone. There is a legend of five travelling saints who rested against this stone and were frozen in place. Merlin freed them but their impressions were left in the stone. The nearby village is called Pumsaint - meaning five saints. Paradoxically, there only appear to be four indentations on the stone...
Placed with the kind permission of the National Trust.
Please note: You do not need to enter the paid for area to find this cache - not even just over the fence. Many of the staff are aware of the cache (though not all as EP found on a couple of maintenance visits)!
