Helppo peruskätkö huikealla paikalla Pielisjoen varressa kaupungin ydinkeskustan läheisyydessä. Kätkö on tehty Kevätpylläys-eventin yhteyteen vuonna 2009.

Kätkö sijaitsee Kimmelin puistossa, Pielisjoen varressa. Pielisjoki on Vuoksen vesistön Pielisen reittiin kuuluva virta ja suurin Saimaaseen virtaava joki. Sen kautta Pohjois-Karjalan suurin järvi Pielinen laskee Pyhäselkään. Pielisjokea on kanavoitu. Joensuu on nimensä mukaisesti Pielisjoen suu.

Quite a easy cache near Pielisjoki river in the centrum of Joensuu. Pielisjoki is the greatest river in the area of Saimaa lake. The river starts from Pielinen lake, which is the greatest lake of North Karelia. Near the city of Joensuu it flows to the Pyhäselkä lake. That is the reason of the name of our city: Joensuu means in English River mouth.
