Une ancienne carrière d'ardoise à ciel ouvert, un lieu étonnant à deux pas du Lac de Maine et de la Croix de Pruniers.
An old stone quarry, a surprising place very close from the Lac de Maine and La Croix de Pruniers.

Lorsque j'étais enfant, je venais souvent jouer ici. C'était fabuleux, cette colline coupée en deux comme par la hache d'un géant en colère. J'ai même grimpé presque tout en haut, un jour...
Nous l'appelions "La Grande Carrière" parce qu'il en existe une autre, plus petite, pas très loin... vous la trouverez peut-être, en vous promenant dans les parages !
C'est l'endroit idéal pour lancer mon géocoin "100 finds", obtenu lors de l'Event Sarthois le 29 mars 2009.
Vous trouverez la cache plutôt du côté Nord-Ouest de la carrière (sans quoi elle aurait été trop proche d'une autre cache).
Je ne suis pas sûr à 100% de mes coordonnées donc n'hésitez pas à lire l'indice et regardez les photos ! Elle est assez bien cachée mais pas besoin de grimper...

When I was a kid, I often came and played in this place. It was awesome, that hill cut like by an angry giant's axe. I even climbed almost to the top, one day...
We called it "The Big Quarry", because there is another one, smaller, not too far... maybe you'll find it if you wander around.
It was the ideal place for launching my géo-achievement "100 finds" GC, which I got during the Sarthe Event, on March 29, 2009.
The cache is situated rather on the NW side of the quarry, because otherwise it would have been too close from another cache. I am not 100% sure of the coordinates so do not hesitate to check the hint and take a glance at spoilers ! It is fairly well hidden, but you don't need to climb...
