This is one of a series of 4 caches on a stunning if challanging hike. Each is complete within itself, but each also contains some of the coordinates for a 5th cache (Inside front cover of notebook)- a reward for finding all the others
Recommended Parking coordinates -
N57 22.887 W004 22.966 (I would suggest reverse parking clear of passing place)
I would advise only attempting this series in the low bracken season - Oct/Nov - April/May.
A old croft in a stunning position. Achcullin is a excellent example of the cruck frame method of building. There also excellent examples of Wattle & Daub interier walls in the building on the far RHS (facing up the hill).
Please take great care around and Especially do not damage the ruins. I visit here regularly, if damage is happening, I will remove the cache.
