Ap 1880.gadu Igates muiža tika uzcelta kungu maja neorenesanses stila. Eku projektejis Rudolfs Cirkvics fon Pistolkorsu dzimtai, celtne demonstrejot atturigu un izsmalcinatu lakonismu. 1934. gada muižas dzivojamo eku nopirka Latvijas Bernu savieniba un pili atradas bernu internats, velak tas tika parveidots par bernu namu.
Tagad pils tiek izmantota saviesigu pasakumu un konferencu rikošanai, te ir ari viesnica un atputas komplekss.
Pils dzirnavas joprojam mal putraimus, te ierikots ari jauks krodzinš, kur nobaudama ari senlatviešu putraimu biezputra.
Slepnis ir neliela izmera Geocache konteineris, kur ievietots loogbook, zimulis, princese un princis, TB, GC un nozimite (pirmajam atradejam)

About 1880 in Igates castle was built manor-house neorenascence style. Designer of building Rudolfs Cirkvics to fon Pistolkorsu family in house show reticent and dainty laconism. In 1934 a boarding –school was established, later it become a children’s home. Since 1998 in castle is hotel. It is also a venue for events as balls and weddings, as well as for conferences.
In old mill (still mills grits!) is Mill bar where you can have an excellent choice of dining options. Here you can taste also Latvian traditional meals.
Cache is small size Geocache container that contains a loogbook, a pencil, a royal couple, TB, GC and a pin (for FTF)
