Deep in the woods, where your GPS reception is poor, lurks Monsieur Schnock (French for Mr Loopy).
He is blue and rotund and likes to hang around mossy trees. He is particularly attached to a young Sweet Chestnut close to a track marked with blue paint that runs roughly parallel to the Grand Randonee 36. Unfortunately, this is used by motorbikes for the "Grappe de Cyrano" and so has lots of waterlogged rutts!
However, perhaps if you search diligently you will find him.
In the gallery you will find my attempts to capture him on film and these might help you see what he looks like but I doubt it.
The closest parking is at Les Fosses above Tayac or at N44 56.828 E001 01.788 near Les Cugnes. It's possible to do the cache and complete the circuit of the 7 Towers (or 9 Brothers!) "Boucle des 7 Tours" - a fine walk, but watch the huge drops down to the Vezere.
Take courage my friends and you may add him to your list of ‘finds’ by signing the log that he carries. For sure, only a geocacher, a mushroom collector or a hunter will find him!

Dans les bois plus profonds, ou la reception de votre GPS est mauvaise, se cachent Monsieur Schnock.
Il est un bleu patapouf et il aime se pendre aux arbres mousseux. Particulierement, il aime un petit Chataignier, a cote du sentier avec les fleches bleu qui court approximativement parallele avec la GR 36. Malheuresement, c'est utilize par le Moto-Club de Bergerac pour "La Grappe de Cyrano", donc il y a beaucoup des trous avec l'eau!
Cependant, peut-etre si vous cherchez avec diligence vous le trouveriez.
Dans la gallerie, j’ai mis mes beaux essais pour le capturer en ‘pellicule’ et j’ai pense ces photos vous aiderent par donnant l’impression de son visage, mais je ne suis pas sur.
Le Parking le plus proche est a cote des "Fosses" au-dessus Tayac ou a N44 56.828 E001 01.788 pres des Sables, aux Cugnes. Il y a la possibilite de completer Le Boucle des Sept Tours (ou les Neufs Freres!) - une belle promenade mais attention sur les falaises.
Courage mes amis! Restez calme et vous pouvez s’aggrandir vos ‘trouvees’ par signant la cahier du log qu’il porte.
Pour certain, c'est seulement un geocacheur, un champignonneur ou un chasseur qui le trouverait!
